Traditionally, the salt water dip is done with water exceeding 1.020 but not
by much 1.024 is OK. The rapid salinity shift kills the parasites in
seconds. Different fish can tolerate differing lengths of dip. As I do not
know exactly how long it takes to kill your parasite. The longer the better.
But as you are dealing with fry you might not have a very long time to work
with before the fish themselves are killed.
Therefore dip one fish at a time. And watch for stress. When the fish looks
like it can't take any more get it out fast. Adult killifish can usually
tolerate 45 seconds to 90 seconds.
But when it comes to fry, just play it by ear.
