Hi Tyrone,
For Nothos with long incubation times I open the container containing the
eggs and peat after the normal incubation time has elapsed and spray the
peat with a spray bottle set on mist until the peat is dark brown again, and
is clearly wet but not dripping. Then I close the container for an
additional week or two. By this point all of the eggs are eyed up and ready
to go. Just add water.
Best regards,
-RJ-
Does this mean that ALL the eggs will hatch. Are you
saying that I cannot dry the peat again and hatch them out in
another month?
I have another question. Northos need salt in their water.
When I change their water each week, do I add salt each time
again to their water. That I was never always sure about. Please
help me. Thank you,
Bro. Paul
