For the first few days it is fine to have aeration with 
hatching nothos. I didn't think it mattereed but heard 
somewhere that some water aeration decreased the belly 
sliding problems. I've never done experiments to prove 
this but it hasn't done any harm so far...
For the first few days I have vigourous aeration and 
then tone it down such that the water still moves and is 
cycled over. Water changes are done once a day, 50% from 
a stock tank where they will be moved to.

Once the fry hatch I never have problems with the nothos 
till they sex out where some species become a pain...
