Re: Feeding Killie's dry food while on vacation

What I have done in the past is get the little cups like some restaurants use
for portion control (and hospitals use for medications) and put the
appropriate amount for each tank per day for the number of days I wanted them
fed & put them on the top of the individual tanks (i.e. if I wanted them fed
3 times in 6 days there would be 3 cups on that tank.) I too subscribe to the
"keep them hungry theory" & usually had them fed every other day. This takes
the guesswork out of feeding for the fish-sitter. And hide any other food so
the person is not tempted by "They still looked hungry!" Carolyn
