I have had striatum many times. OF the prs I got iether both sexes
or one of the pr jumped out through tiny cracks r simply died or
disappeared. Striatum seems prone to suicide and there is nothing
you can do about.:-( They are very determined. The only recourse
is to get as many fry as you can as quickly as you can and take
your chances... OF the fry I get 99% are male and the 1% normally
jump out the tank through the 5mm crack between the cover glass
and tank sides...
I don't keep striatum any more... too much stress.
Don't throw the J.moss away. The odds are there are lots of eggs
in it.
