Yes, there is a way to keep it longer :) I have had mine last me 3 weeks
after purchase! I typically keep them in a 1 to 3 gallon container, and
airate them, using a fine bubble airstone. Remember to keep the salinity
between 1.022 and 1.032 for optimal results (I add a little bit os salt each
week to be on the safe side). Also the powdered aretmia food (Sometimes
labled Brine shrimp food) works great for feeding them. About what I said
before about adding salt... I normally prefer to make fresh saltwater
everyweek for the brine shrimp, but adding a tablespon or so to freshen up
the mix works alright.
I wish you the best of luck with keeping your brine :) Oh! and Btw, I keep
mine room temp., not in the frige. I prefer using the frige for blackworms.

          Sincerely,
            D. Zwicky
