RE: Whiteworms
Hi Ruth,
I try to keep my culture on the moister/wetter side and cover the kitten
[not cat] chow with a piece of square acrylic [Plexi Glass type material]
plastic to which I have attached a cheap plastic kitchen cabinet drawer pull
handle. It make it very easy to lift up the plastic sheet and rinse the
worms off the underside. The worms seem to like being covered in this way
and makes them easy to harvest because they cling in numbers to it. It also
keeps the fungus down/suppressed because it doesn't seem to like growing as
well under the plastic sheet as out in the open on the food. Some people
also use a sheet of glass and glue [silicone] a handle to it.
