I would love to see fry take adult BS. The post I was refering to was 
regarding the survival rate of fry and supplementing bbs to do it. 
Adult BS (ABS to keep it short) would benifit greatly from some 
supplementation as your point out with your example. In any case I 
didn't mention ABS at all in the post you are refering to so what is 
there to argue about?

Feeding bbs: stick with the plain fresh product.
Feeding old bbs or ABS, then supplement away...

Coincidently supplemening old bbs and ABS with goldern pearls or 
baby star may work just as well. In fact, some fry will take the 
golden pearls from the word go if the water is properly aggitated 
(don't bother trying with nothos though. Tried it. Didn't work.).
