Don't get mad at him. Did you ever read Gould's account of being questioned
by the Supreme Court of the USA, notably Justice Scalia (noted for his
brilliance) on the subject of evolution vs "creation science" ? Please note
all of the zillions of intelligent well educated persons, often scientists,
of all of various persuasions who flock to the various houses of prayer to
give supreme importance to their various mythology systems. So just be
amused.
