RE: Live Brine Shrimp Help

Don't store it for more then a couple of days!!! It is a bacteria growth room.

When you get the shrimp home from the LFS, collect the shrimp from the liquid
it came in and put them in Coral Life/Instant Ocean ~ 1/2 cup per gallon. Put
that in a container with as much surface as possible. If you can bubble air
which will increase your oxygen. Try to feed the whole lot within 72 hours or
less.

One trick .. since brine shrimp are filter feeders this is a great way to get
HUFA into your fish. A couple few drops of SELCO or some other commercial HUFA
in the culture when you bring the shrimp home will result 24 hours later in a
food that will increase your spawning activity many many fold. HUFA is the
successful breeders silent secret.

Peace
