Live brine shrimp produced on the West Coast should be refrigerated while
that produced on the East Coast should be kept at room temperature. I have
kept adult brine shrimp alive a long time in marine aquaria without fishes
(just aeration) and in outdoor barrels or kiddie pools of leftover (used)
marine water. Do not feed them. If you want to maintain live foods, I
recommend that you culture live daphniae indoors or outdoors.
