RE: Russian BSE's

Tom,

These are no doubt communist eggs they are resisting the freedom of hatching
and having to fend for themselves for the safety of their protective egg
society where all eggs get the same deal. There is little growth in the
system but they are much safer from capitalist "big fish" which might gobble
them up!

I have some eggs from sources unknown, which hatch in high salinity water
(1.025) and they actually hatch better when the temperature is cooler about
70 degrees for 48 hours. Probably Siberians.

Play with the parameters until you get the best hatches.

Best regards,

-RJ-

Subject: Russian BSE's

I have a can of Russian BSE's that aren't hatching for me. I put the can in
the freezer until I was ready to open. Hatch time's at 80F are not at all or
sparse. pH is 7.5 and I added some bicarb to the last batch with no
improvement.

Is decapsulating a way to salvage the food value? Looking for hints.
