Too true. We are as a nation are simply ignorant, suspicious and
fearful of real science. And heaven forbid that a business should make
adjustments that might cost a penny! Likewise, we as a nation have a
distorted view of history. The two go together. This is one of the reasons
I made a mid-life career change and became a teacher. I fight ignorance
every day!
