Brent,
It can be done if you aren't too concerned about getting lots of fry. My
experience is that gardneri are about the easiest using prepared food only. Also,
try and have LOTS of Java moss in the tank. It seems to hold a lot of little
creatures for the fry to graze on until they start eating the prepared foods.
