Well, my Aphysemion Scheeli have arrived! They look great, I am so excited.
I have one question. Actually, I have a lot of questions but I've asked the breeder all of them but this one may be time critical.
Right now the 2 mail and 2 females, each about an inch long, are acclimating to my water. (I have much softer water than the breeders.) They are in 2 cups of water (1 1/2 cups of his and 1/2 of mine, I'm adding 1/2 every half dozen or so hours.) They spend half their time being calm, half their time jumping and one of them, a male, spends some of his time nipping at the others (male and females).
should I separate him out? I'd rather not because I have some logistics problems them involving the water acclimatization.
This is quite exciting, my very first killies!
Oh, I've been referring to the "breeder" because I don't know proper list etiquette. Am I allowed to use his name? I am quite happy with all the emails and especially happy with the fish. I'd love to give an endorsement but I don't know if that is proper.
Thanks!
