Re: Fp. oeseri
Alot of hard questions to answer Doug and folks. I have not completed
entering all the data yet, but I am finding many species are only
"maintained" by one or two people.
For Fundulopanchax since that is Doug's area. With still some entries to
make: the following are indicated by only a single entry.
Fp. fallax (all pops), Fp. filamentosum (all pops), Fp. robertsoni, Fp.
mirabilis traudae, Fp. ndianus, Fp. sjoestedti Niger Delta, and Fp.
puerzli Dibeng.
Now - again I am going to reiterate: This census is based 100% on the
reports I received and not people who list fish in the BNL (In fact only
received one list from a regular BNL contributor - Thanks Ruth! ). It
also does not take into account any shows, conventions or club auctions.
In truth other groups may be in worse shape. I plan to document alot of
info about the census to prepare it for the printout at the convention and
on the AKA website. I think there should be alot of discussion at this
years convention on this situation. I plan to meet with all of the KCC
committee heads and see what they would like from me and what we can do to
improve communication and information distribution.
