As I recall, Home Depot sold three types, including lexan, which I bought for a large picture frame for my scout patch collection.  The type I bought boasted UV protection on the label, which I viewed as a plus for protecting my collection.  

But is UV protection a minus for tanks with plants?  Or a non-issue?
