One needs to watch it there, David.

Acrylic is also often sold for glazing, but without the shatterproof hype
usually attached to polycarbonate glazing. Read the labels and ask, for
acrylic glazing will warp like crazy if used to cover an aquarium. It
absorbs water and swells. It assumes impressive curves if the moisture is
different on two sides.

It should be labeled as the "Rivulus Escape Cover."  :-)

If I recall, correctly, acrylic looks whiter and brighter on the edges, and
glazing polycarbonate may have a faint yellowish tinge to the edges that
acrylic never seems to have.
