Re: "AKA politics and other useless hogwash"
Just a brief point to make ...
Killie Talk was designed in part so AKA Business could be discussed by
the membership - so BOT members would gain a better understanding of many
of the issues facing the average keeper and to use it as a place for AKA
related committees and others to communicate with the membership.
Although - in the past - the AKA politics and other useless hogwash" had
to be done face-to-face - at conventions or local club meetings - Killie
Talk provides a forum for those who do not have easy access of that nature.
For those who do not like a large number of messages - I am sorry, but I
believe this form of communication is necessary and for it to all be in one
Mail List. My reasons - if we separated out AKA business - many people may
never join that list - may never have the opportunity to know what is
occurring within the AKA and certainly may later complain about the
detrimental decisions made - which were affected by those who do
comment. It needs to remain in this single Mail List.
If the only thing you want to read is How To articles or ideas on
keeping Killies - I don't have a good suggestion to be honest. We all have
to take the good with the bad I guess.
On the virus info - Much of it is necessary - it is part of being a
member of this list to have a way to find answers to problems and most of
us are willing to help if we can without regard to the number of messages
that are off-topic. I do not believe it to be off-topic when the problem
is coming through - however innocently - Killie Talk or its members
(unaware or not). People need help and if asked I will continue to make it
public info for all to read so those who do not ask, but need the help -
get the answers.
Okay not so brief ...
