How many beginers would of been overwelmed by the recent
endless thread of matter inconsequential to them in general. I know
one message came through by a beginer saying they were leaving
because of this. Our endless squabbles are not promoting anything
other than disharmony and a picture of us as a bunch of bickering
old farts.

How much of the last 2 weeks post have been on this matter?
Maybe a quater? More than likely less.
I have no problem with the above list of topics, but I feel that the
below should be kept among AKA members alone and not forced
on those who do not want to contribute or even know that the
matter exists. I would subscribe to the "AKA politics" list as I want
to be involved but I would prefer to deal with the "fishy" topics
without having to wade through a mass of email!

Further more, as can be seen from the last debate matters quickly
got out of hand and no real consensus was reached. Maybe some
moderation should be introduced. Our Chairman jumped in a few
times as he should, maybe next time we had such a debate he
should moderate so that instead of us blathering on for two weeks
without consensus we can derive a quick point in a few days.
Just how effective is the discussion of AKA policies being executed
using the current list?...
Back to other stuff...
