Just talked to Cathy Carney and she says she'd alraedy given you some
information on this, but ehre's what I have.
G.C.A.S. (Greater Cincinnati Aquarium Society) Auction, Saturday, April
28, 2001.
National Guard Armory, (behind Krogers) off Vine Street on Shadybrook,
Cincinnati. Take I-75 to Galbraith Road exit, go west to Rt 4 (Vine St.).
Cross it and turn right around the loop (you can't make a left onto Vine at
this corner); go past Kroger's, turn right again. Armory is on the right,
drive is partially hidden.
Registration 8-11 a.m. for sellers (sellers after 11 a.m. sell last).
Auction starts 11 and runs until ?
That's the official stuff. Unofficially, I'll be there with some
livebearers adn some killifish. Auction tends to run heavy on cichlids of
all kinds, some cats, some odds and ends, some plants. Prices are usually
reasonable, although some fish go real high ($100+ for breeder discus,
angels, etc.). Usually a fun time, and some good fish to buy.
Suggest you bring a sandwich. They may (or may not) have food available,
and this auction usually runs all afternoon.
