Re: here's an idea
Hey, Tom,
I don't think you come across as anti-new guy. I think most new keepers
wouldn't want to have the rare and difficult fish, since they're more
frustrating and even more so when the failure means the fish might go under.
What I'm hoping the census will provide (and yes I'm still plugging away
over here...) is a list that will include some of those easy fish that have
gone by the wayside since the experienced folks have gotten bored with
them. I would be just delirious with delight to have such a list! I've
heard a lot of talk that such species exist, but I don't have any actual
names to keep an eye out for. If the more experienced folks really could
make some nominees, that would just make my day.
I think so far we had
aphyosemion celiae celiae
Aphyosemion oeseri (is this one easy?)
Aphyosemion primigenium (actually this one seems quite common to me)
Chromaphyosemion bivittatum "funge"
Fundulopanchax walkeri "kutunze" (which is my favorite fish in my fish room).
