I think I can add even more emphasis to Barry's comments. There has never
been, to my knowledge, a conscious bias exerted on the ratio of
scientific/hobbyist articles. Also there has never been an article rejected
on the basis of it being either too scientific or too hobby oriented.
Virtually all articles submitted will be published after some editing and
corrections are made. So, if you want more articles, encourage others to
write them, help them write them or write them yourselves. I would be very
happy if the JAKA mailing and printing expense budget sometimes had to be
stretched a bit to accommodate more articles.
