Re: Re: KCC

Sort of proves my point doesn't it. Scott was able to hook up
electronically with Doug through Killietalk to get the info and the fish he
wants. No mail involved. All in one or two days. I am still a relatively
inexperienced breeder, but I am available to anyone I can help at all. I am
not yet involved with any formal committees, but am willing to help the AKA
however I can, because I love these fish. I drive 5 hours (each way!) to
affiliate meetings. I try to make serious and thoughtful contributions to
the list. I have begun to investigate conservation committees to help
maintain species. I am an active AKA member who believes in the
organization. I certainly appreciate the efforts of all who help manage the
AKA, and the Killietalk list. I will say this; I have learned more here on
the internet in one year than in five or six years of mailed publications.
To all who contribute to Killietalk (even those I disagree with!) thank you
for helping me be a better breeder!
