Don't need flame shields for a good idea
I'm with you here. I would like to see the AKA host a trading post/bid
service of their own, or at least a virtual FEL online. So that when that
big batch of Rivulus eggs comes rolling down the mop, we can immediately put
it on there. Man what an idea. I don't know how much time and how many
resources Mark had to spend for the starting and the day to day operation of
Aquabid, but it would be worth finding out. Or at least a virtual FEL that
is living and breathing and can be edited if someone all the sudden has a
fishroom tragedy. I don't know enough about databases and stuff to do it
myself or I'd volunteer, but I'll do what I can.
What a fantastic idea Wright, glad I thought of it....chuckle, chuckle.
That's more cents worth. Somebody start telling me when I'm overspent ok?
OTOH, I'm really worried that the trading on Aquabid or through Killy Trader
List is going to swamp the oversight, nomenclature correction, ethics
standards and other great benefits that F&E management brought to civilizing
the hobby. We have a couple of truly great co-chairs to fill those huge
shoes of Dr. Dan. I'd really hate to see Dave and Bill have to end up
presiding over an eventual loss of this wonderful, traditional AKA function.
