Please send me more details about the June 9th collecting trip at your
place-- I'll try to schedule my visit around it (I finish work here May

I wouldn't say unfortunately. There are two active fish clubs in the
Columbus area. Columbus Area Fish Enthusiasts (CAFE) meets the 4th
Friday of each month, and has a fall workshop/sale planned for October
20-21. The Greater Cincinnati Killifish Association (GCKA) has members
in the greater Columbus area (Westerville, Galena, and Mount Vernon) and
usually meets on the first weekend of the month. Our June meeting (June
9) is at my place for club picnic/collecting trip along with CAFE
members. I am the contact person for both clubs and would love to have
you and your parents visit.
Also, you might want to check out Byerly's on Grandview Avenue (west
side of Columbus), Aquarium Adventure on Sawmill Road (west side, near
Dublin), they're both excellent, although I find Aquarium Adventure a
bit pricey (go to Byerly's first). Jack's Aquarium and Pets (4 locations
in Columbus) is decent.
