Hmm.. I wonder if that's why I never see fry in that tank.. I thought that maybe the parents were eating them... :P

It look like a Utricularia sp.. (see Baench atlas vol.2 p.148)
A carnivorous (piscivorous, insectivorous) plant ...
The small bladders we can see on the picture Might be able to catch small
fry.
I wouldn't use it in a mating tank :-)
