Re: 2 1/2 Gal. Tanks
This sounds like a great idea! What is the brand name of the sealer you use
and where can we look for it?
Thank you,

I did not see anyone say they make their own 2 1/2 gal tanks. I make a
tank that is 7" wide x 8" high and 10' long. I use double strength glass
(1/8") that I have cut at the local glass store. It costs me $2.86 a
tank. I hold the tank together with masking tape and run a bead of dow
corning sealer on the inside of all the joints, then I run my finger
along the joints to smooth out the sealer. After the sealer drys
overnight I remove the tape and sand all the edges with a medium emery
paper. It makes a great little tank and is pretty easy to do.
