RE: I can't get Java Fern to grow!



My Java ferns are of both the run-of-the-mill and Windelov variety and yet 
neither grows, but stay in a "suspended animation" mode like someone else 
mentioned.  I've read from several sources how the plant can do good in both 
hard and soft water, but have thus not experienced any success in either.
