Hi Jose,
Thats how 90% of commercial aquatic plants are gown. If you know any thing
about hydroponics they either use a tube and basket set up, airaponics or
flood and drain with no substrate both with fogger set ups and about 5%-25%
nutrient. They are mainly interested in root development so they would use
cloning hormones and vitamins and would make sure that their feet are kept
warm. Growing aquarium plants to full size would be to costly you could grow
plants that arn't true aquarim plants no problems especialy ones that are
submerged for part of their life or live in a moist enviroment.
