Re: squirrels
I can tell you that the release to the natural preserve at the end
of my father's street (about 1 1/2 miles) does not pose a disease risk! As
to the territoriality question, well, I have trouble thinking it worth
killing the cute little buggers over! By the way, it is only my father's
pesky infiltrators we are discussing. At my place, we feed the little guys
and have them nearly tame. I had to chase one brave little squirrel out of
the garage while bringing in groceries the other day. He was hilarious.
Didn't want to acknowledge my authority! And now, of course, I will have to
endure lectures about not feeding the "wild" animals. Spare me and send
fish-talk!
