Mine (gold) seem to ignore fry unlike many of the gardneri.  I just pull fry
from the parent tank(which does have a bottom mop and gravel with
undergravel filter)  This has worked with three generations so I don't think
it is a fluke.Many Fp species do like to bury eggs and the eggs will stay
put till disturbed and then hatch all at once.  Nice way to get a group of
fry with minimal effort.
