Re: sponge for filters



Look at Target, Walmart in the automotive section for car wash sponges. They
will have them with different size pores, can be cut to all shapes, and are
a nice price. I always soak them for a while, rinse a lot, and then toss in
a platy or something in the water to make sure any residual junk is out.
Other than being dirty to start with I have never had any problems with
them.
