What I still see among the old timers like Dave Koran is a willingness to

I agree and would like to add the big difference between this day and 30-40
years ago. That is, it is now quick and easy to send off an email compared
with handwriting or typing (with carbons) to communicate. This is both a
blessing and a curse because frequently the message has not been thought
through sufficiently or is done in a moment of passion and goes to not only
the recipient but hundreds of others, sometimes intentionally, often
unintentionally. Those were the good old days, but these days are better.
Just imagine what it was like 30-40 years ago without Xerox machines, let
alone word processors and computers and especially email.
