We have snow *and* mountains. One Betta club member used to come every
month, from Bishop, CA. In winter, that was 475 miles each way, via Reno,
chains sometimes required. She also made quite a few killy club meetings.
NCKC had regular member visits from Sacramento, Winters and Modesto. None of
those are under 2 hours, each way.
Have a good group and fun meeting. It makes the travel seem unimportant.
