Re: Ouch! Brine Shrimp Eggs



Earlier in the year I bought their Tibet eggs at $39 per pound.  Took a
risk and bought a bunch as they were not GSL eggs or premium grade.  So
far they have worked out well.  I have needed to add a bit more salt,
another day or so to the hatching time.  They may also hatch at a cooler
temp as I don't heat my hatching water and so it drops down to 65-70 F
range in the fish room.  Might want to see if they are from the GSL or
another source.  There may be a bit of perfornace issues related to the
origin of the eggs..  Everyone I have talked to said 3 days for the tibet
eggs, 24+ hrs for the GSL or SFO eggs.  I am sure there is a good
reason....
