Depending on the species (Rivulus are notorious), a tight fitting glass cover 
is best. A half full tank works for all but Rivulus, but if that is not 
agreeable to you, a Saran wrap cover is good too. In any case where an 
absolute cover is used, it is a pain in the neck to feed the fish because you 
have to open it, feed them and close very carefully. Therefore, I prefer half 
full (half empty?) 10 and 5 gallon tanks and fully covered 2.5 gallon tanks.
