I am on a number of "general purpose" aquarium boards and talk to a lot of 
people about killies.  The most common question I receive is "My pet shop has 
something they call the ____________ killie.  What is it and how do I take 
are of it?"

Until we have a stable naming system, killie names will only provide another 
barrier to expanding this part of the aquarium hobby.
