I hate to disagree with you on the never
ending name changes but it's not the people working on their masters and
doctorates that are the cause of the
changes to the scientific names of the fish we love so well.
It is a little known fact that under a bridge in upper state New York
there is a Troll
who every couple of years convenes a convention of his fellow trolls to
discuss
confusing humans more.
They sit at a large table,drink schnapps
and discuss what familiar name changes to make. The more unpronounceable
and
difficult to spell the better. They just love to confuse the hell out of
us humans. Perverse little buggers !
So as you see all of the nomenclature changes are not attributable to
some poor
academician but those knarled,twisted ,
bent and perverse little Trolls (and that
is just their minds). Of course your mileage may vary......,<BIG GRIN>
