Regarding the RO unit. The comment about the swamp cooler valve is a good
one. 15 gal a day works out to over a 55 gal drum twice a week. If you're
well water is as hard as mine,,, you could still get 150 gal or so of tank
water after adding back some regular well water (the filtered one) to up
the tds's. I come and go with changing water,,, but 150 gal of water a
week should keep even the most compulsive water changer happy for a mix of
three or so dozen 5 and 10 gal tanks.
Maybe I should have said all "but" the most compulsive water changer?
;-) Somebody was doing %100 a week,,, sounds like my snail tank.
