I don't have any experience with the species, but two general
questions come to mind. How old are they? And, what do you feed them?

I don't know how old the Fallax are; they came from a European importation
the CAKC/KKG brought in last October.

The male is a good 3 1/2" long and the female almost 3". They lay eggs
almost every day in sinking mops in a five gal tank. They eat frozen brine
shrimp and bloodworms readily.

I've started putting the current egg production on a layer of damp peat moss
in petri dishes. Some turn white (and are discarded), but many of them are
still firm and yellowish several days later. We'll see what happens in about
six weeks.
