All,
I am in the process of breaking down a 55 that I had stuck a pair of BIV's
in. Very heavily planted with Dwarf Sunnies and Procatopus in there. They
must have been busy because I pulled about 6 1" fry out of that tank. Now
they are in a 75 and the adults are not at all shy. In fact they seem to
work the edges of the floating plants pretty well, and put on a great
display! Also these tanks are both open topped and I've had only one
jumper..... Aren't BIV's supposed to be real aerialists? Not in my
experience......  Hmmm. Must like my cooking! ;O)
