Valerie,

My local fish shop owner has been kind enough to supply me with large and 
med sized styros at no charge.  Your local merchant may not be as generous, 
but it never hurts to ask!  The standard shallow boxes are only about 3/4" 
thick so they are only suitable for short trips in relatively temperate 
weather, but the boxes he gets plants and salt water fish in seem to be 
much deeper and with thicker walls.
