Re: lampeyes

I too have Matt's Procatopus aberrans DKG red and some of Wright's P.
aberrans. The Apl. katangae dies out sometime ago, and I lost (Gulp!) all
of my P. nototaneia in a heater malfunction fish fry :O( The aberrans seem
to have stopped egg production and I'm wondering if it isn't due to keeping
them too warm (77 F). This will be changed here shortly as they are going
into new quarters. The best egg production I got was when I kept them at
about 73F. I've got two sizes of fry coming up, but they are slow growers
for me!! Any thoughts about starting up a Lampeyes study/maint. group?
Count me in, in a second!!

Cheers,
