RE: Cats drinking the fish water
We have a Maine Coon cat that likes to drink water out of the water change
buckets, daphnia containers, etc. Very talented in
climbing up to high locations where some of my containers are. My only worry
would be a possible bacteria infection from the
changewater, but so far nothing untoward has happened. My 2c worth.

Cats are clever. My cat Chango will drink from the bathtub drain or toilet
if his water bowl is empty. Hey-- when you're thirsty, you're thirsty!

I thought dogs were the only ones that did this. Yet another reason to
put the lid down (lol).
