is there a very small predatory worm that will live in your hatching trays,

No, if I use acriflavine, which is seldom, I change the water after a day
or so to new water that has been dechlorinated.
I have seen some that seemed to eat eggs of Diapteron species. I removed
the eggs and threw away the worms, whatever they were.
