I have made all of my breeding tanks as well as repaired and rebuilt
most of my tanks. I have used GE 012 with no loss of any fish. I have
used tanks that have cured for only 48 hours as well.

The tube that I have says plainly on the tube 100% SILICONE. Not
100% silicone sealer. It says on the tube may be used on food contact
surfaces. It also states on the tube for use with aquariums after
48 hours of curing. It is dated and using after the date voids the
warrenty.

It probably is the same product used in the Pet Store tubes with a
different lable and at 1/4 the price.
