Have you tried chilling the culture? Fungus gnats seem very fragile, so
you might be able to kill them off by leaving the culture in the
refrigerator for 24-48 hours. I haven't had any experience with white
worms (I have grindal worm cultures due to the higher temperatures in
southern California), so I'm not certain how well the white worms will
tolerate the lowered temps.
