Merry Christmas.... but.
To the AKA I send greetings from the BKA and wish everyone a great year
ahead in the fish house.
But... The exchange membership thing is bugging me.
I exchanged a couple of weeks ago but still do not have the passwords to get
into the AKA site. I'm a fully paid up member but cannot access the site.
I'm not beefing at the AKA. The BKA has a similar problem. The new
technology brings new problems to solve and this is one of them.
I believe exchanges are the way ahead now. We can all translate
e-mails/articles easily now and foriegn Journals present no problem in
translation.
In the old days I spent hours translating material for the BKA newsletter
with a dictionary. Now it's so easy and fast to understand a killie keeper
anywhere in the world.
My hope for this new year is that we can all live together on the group/net
with a clear understanding that globally we all want killies to stay alive
in captivity. Let's use 2001 collectively to keep those endangered
populations from extinction.
All the best for Christmas and the New Year...Tim
