Hello,

I've never seen the Cyp. variegatus but from the pictures Cyp. veronicae 
should be a little more blue.  Still, I have to admit that the lighting in 
the picture was a little too blue.  I will try to get some Cyp. variegatus 
from the creek when I come back from the break. Have anyone ever try to 
acclimitize blackish water variegatus to fresh water?  How long did it take?

What was the incubation time for the variegatus?

Oh yes, they are very aggressive, even the females are agressive.  Can't 
keep them together or the smaller one won't get any food.
